I love to grab them for all outdoor activities, there is a go-to snack for hikes and workouts to feel energized! As they promote great hydration it helps extremely well with all endurance and outdoor activities to avoid cramps
love to add nuts and plant-based protein to make it filling and keep a check of daily nutrition, you can play with the ratios and nuts according to the avilability
Ingredients
· 2 cups dried apricots
· 1/2 cup raw cashews
· ½ cup almonds
· ½ cup pecans
· ½ cup Nutrilite All plant protein powder
· 3 tbsp chia seeds
· 3 tbsp Hemp Seeds
· 15 pitted Medjool dates
· 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
· pinch of salt
Steps to follow
Add dates in a medium bowl, cover with hot water, and let sit for 5-10 minutes or microwave for 30 sec or until it gets a soft texture. In the meantime, pulse the almonds, pecans, chia, hemp in a food processor until they form a coarse meal with little nutty texture. Then Add, All plant powder, Vanilla Extract, and Salt.
Drain the dates tap them with a tissue, then add to the food processor and pulse it until you get a sticky crumbled dough.
Make a ball of the desired size and roll them, you can also roll them with coconut flakes according to your taste
Shelf life : They taste fresh for 3 days outside and 2 weeks when kept in a fridge
